Who we are

What stays on your device

Today's six, your results, which games and levels you have seen, and your reminder settings are stored in your browser's local storage so the app works. We cannot read them. Clearing your site data deletes them.

If you turn on the optional before/after check-in (how focused and how tired you feel, 1 to 5), those answers are kept only in the same local storage. They are never sent to us, even with "Help improve 6S Reset" on. Settings lets you download them as a file or delete them.

If you turn on notifications

To send reminders, our server (run on Cloudflare) stores: a random device key created by your browser, the push address your browser gives us (from Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft's push service), the encryption keys for that address, your reminder window, weekdays and time zone, and which reminders were sent. This is not linked to your name or email; we never ask for them.

We use it only to send your reminders. Turning notifications off in 6S Reset deletes your record from our server. If your browser reports the push address as expired, we delete it automatically. Push messages pass through your browser vendor's push service, which has its own privacy policy.

Anonymous totals (always)

Our server counts things that happen anyway when you use a feature that needs it: reminders sent, reminders snoozed or dismissed, notifications turned on or off, and reminder slots played. These are stored only as daily totals (for example "1,240 reminders sent on 3 March"), never per person or device. No cookies or identifiers are used for this.

"Help improve 6S Reset" (off unless you turn it on)

In Reminders & settings you can choose to share anonymous usage. Only if you turn it on, your browser sends us small events: a game was started or finished (game, level, finished or not, rough time), you finished all six for the day, and how long ago you first used 6S Reset in broad bands (first day, 2–7 days, 8–30 days, longer). Our server adds your device type (desktop, phone or tablet and operating system family, from the request header your browser already sends) and your country (from the network), then keeps only daily totals. We do not store IP addresses, and no event carries an identifier. To stop automated abuse, the server counts requests per hour under a code computed with a secret key from your IP address (for IPv6, from its network part; never the address itself); these counters are deleted after a day.

With it on, we also load Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and page speed without cookies. [Operator: confirm whether Cloudflare Web Analytics stays opt-in after legal review.]

You can turn it off at any time; nothing more is sent after that. Legal basis: your consent.

Hosting and processors

The site and server run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which processes requests, including IP addresses, to deliver the service and protect it from abuse, under its data processing terms. How long we keep data

• Reminder records: until you turn notifications off, the push address expires, or three reminders in a row cannot be delivered.
• Send log (which slot was sent, used to avoid duplicates): 90 days, then deleted automatically.
• Abuse-protection request counters: deleted after a day.
• Daily totals: kept as statistics; they contain no personal data.

Your choices and rights

You can turn notifications and "Help improve" off at any time in the app, and clear your device data in your browser. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, delete or object to processing of personal data, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because we hold no name or email, the simplest way to delete your reminder record is to turn notifications off in the app; it is deleted at once. Contact: [privacy contact email].

Children

6S Reset is meant for adults at work or study and is not directed at children under [13/16].
